About Housemate Matching
The housemate matching process for BSSM students is a very personal and intentional process. Many of the BSSM students move to Redding, CA and don't know anyone. We match BSSM students who are wanting to find safe, affordable housing with other BSSM housemates. Our housemate matching service uses the responses from the lifestyle questions in the housemate matching questionnaire to create housemate matches. Our goal is to maximize the potential for successful housemate relationships.
When matching housemates, we consider a number of factors:
Your Lifestyle Preferences — On your housemate matching questionnaire, you are asked to answer a few questions about your lifestyle. When possible, we try to match you with housemates who have similar lifestyle preferences as you.
Your House Preferences — We know that your house preferences are very important to you, so we always try to match you with housemates who wants to be in the same house as you.
Your Room Type Preferences- Students will be matched with housemates according to room type preferences and budget. There are single, double and triple rooms available in most houses.
Please note that you must have a confirmed housing acceptance before you can be matched to a house. Apply here
